Sugaring is a hair removal technique that uses a non-toxic, all-natural paste made from sugar, water, and lemon juice to gently remove hair directly from the follicle.
Using their hands, your esthetician will smoothe the paste onto the skin in the opposite direction of the hair growth, let it sit for a few seconds, and then gently remove the paste and hair in the direction of hair growth to prevent breakage.
Unlike traditional wax, which is heated and applied hot as a liquid - which can lead to accidental burns and even scarring - sugaring paste is applied at room/body temperature, and the entire process only takes about 15 minutes.
