This class gives an overview of what massage therapy is today as well as a thorough understanding of the techniques of traditional Swedish massage.
Students will learn the strokes of Swedish massage, basic anatomy and physiology, the bones and major muscles of the body, proper body mechanics, and a step- by-step routine for each body part in order to effectively practice massage.
Our entire program prides itself on being mostly hands-on.

After working and teaching at the Louisville School of Massage from 1991-1998, he decided to open his own school and massage clinic in order to raise the standard of massage education to a higher level.
In 1998, he opened Advanced Massage Therapeutics.
His passion includes: Orthopedic massage, Myofascial massage and Sports massage.
In 2008, he was voted "Best massage therapist" by Kentucky Health and Fitness magazine.
