Eric Ruthig, LMT (IL), CMT (IN) offers a unique approach to personalized massage therapy. He has been a licensed massage therapist since 2013. Having studied in Thailand, his original style combines elements, ideas, and techniques from Thai, tui na (Chinese acupressure), Deep Tissue, and Swedish into a bodywork session custom to the receiving client.

No two sessions are the same. Eric studied massage therapy at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, IL. In addition to hands-on service, Eric also offers such enhanced treatments as Thai herbal compress, hot & cold stone, tok sen (Thai mallets), pha kao mah, bamboo, gua sha (scraping), and cupping. Eric is certified to practice massage therapy with the States of Illinois and Indiana and is an insured member in good standing with Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.

REORIENT proudly sells Susan's CBD products and offers them as treatments during appointments as well. Appointments are taken at your location in the Chicagoland area, including the City of Chicago and most suburbs.
Services
Be the hero of your next event by booking professional chair massage services.
Nothing goes over better than complimentary massage at your office or eventspace.
With much experience in this area, I will help to make your gathering be a success.
Some occasions I have served include shareholder meetings, trade shows, training sessions, conferences, employee appreciation/contest reward days, and promotional booths.
In the past, I also performed chair massage in a Whole Foods Market on a weekly basis.
Steamed, baseball sized bundles of raw herbs are used on the body in place of hands, offering a broad, gentle yet firm pressure and rapid pain relief.
Lemongrass, turmeric, ginger, and many other herbs in the compress ball along with the heat soften and relax muscular and fascial tissue much more rapidly than thru massage alone, leaving you relaxed and centered.
This ancient Chinese scraping technique uses a stone, spoon-like tool to remove and disperse adhesions, scar tissue, and stagnation.
The name translates to "scraping wind", which, in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), manifests as dry, achey pain and stiffness.
Booking an appointment is easy!
Phone calls can be scheduled to discuss and answer any questions or concerns you may have prior to the massage session.
Appointments are generally available Fri-Mon from 11AM-9PM.
Group events and chair massage can be scheduled with advance notice.
While gratuity is certainly appreciated, my rates reflect what I feel to be a fair value for my services.
Therefore tipping is neither required nor expected.
Any treatment enhancements such as hot stone, gua sha, Thai herbal compress balls, cupping, pha kao mah, tok sen, or bamboo require at least 24 hours notice prior to your appointment to ensure that the service and tools are available and ready.
