Heated basalt stones are used in conjunction with traditional massage strokes to deliver a deep warming massage. After graduating from NYU in political science, Laura did her initial massage training in Pittsburgh then continued her studies at the Heartwood Institute in the mountains of Northern California. She then practiced massage for 9 years at a number of spas in and around Los Angeles. In 2007 Laura returned to Pittsburgh, where she could enjoy the seasons and be near her family. Soon thereafter, she started her own practice at Pittsburgh's Iyengar studio, Yoga On Centre, and eventually moved to her practice to her current location on Friendship Ave.
