Kateyah Kapashah is a Certied Colon Hydrotherapist, Massage Therapist and Birth Doula in Lake County Florida. She has been in practice massage since 1994. Colon hydrotherapy involves the safe and gentle infusion of water into the colon via the rectum.
No chemicals or drugs are involved and the entire therapy is both relaxing and effective.
During a colonic you will lie on a custom treatment table and in a 30 to 45 minute session as much as 15-25 gallons of water are used internally to gently flush the colon.
Water temperature and pressure will be monitored by the therapist to stimulate peristalsis (muscular contraction) of a sluggish colon.
Filling of the colon is accomplished through appropriate use of massage, pressure points, reflexology, breathing techniques and individualized suggestion.
