At Myotherapy College of Utah, we teach that massage is an act of self-empowerment. Our massage therapists are taught to understand the mind-body connection and can help their clients understand why they are in need of massage therapy. Each year we strive to prepare each of our students for the MBLEx exam which is required to become a Licensed Massage Therapist in Utah. read more › The total cost of massage therapy school estimated around $13,394 including Registration & Tuition Fees, Lab Fees, Books, Massage Table & Equipment, and Professional Licensing. A one-time $25.00 Application Fee is required for all Matriculated and Non-Matriculated students (this is non-refundable after 3 business days from enrollment date). For MCU graduates enrolling as Non-Matriculated Students, no additional Application Fee is required and is waived. A $100.00 Re-registration fee is required for all students who withdraw and return to school.

The Department based these standards on the amounts students borrow for enrollment in this program and their reported earnings. If in the future the program does not pass the standards, students who are then enrolled may not be able to use federal student grants or loans to pay for the program, and may have to find other ways, such as private loans, to pay for the program.

Because of this, our school is able to offer Financial Aid to help Students receive their education and certifications. With a certification students will be able to work in a clinic, Spa facility, or private business as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Also, our school has a long tradition of working with students to get into a massage therapy job successfully and quickly. It takes as little as eight months to complete a basic massage therapy course, but you can set your own pace in the program by selecting the schedule that works best for you.

read more › Our Clinic appointments fill up quickly. You should try to book your appointment 3-4 days in advance, but we do have cancellations so call when you can. Not generally, as most booked appointments are kept. However, things do change and appointments are sometimes canceled. If you would really like an appointment on a particular day that is already booked, we will put your name down on a wait list for that day. Our students start clinic with a minimum of 10 weeks of Swedish Massage experience. That said, we do encourage our students to offer other modalities they are learning in class.

read more › Kirk has been with the college since 2002. He is responsible for developing and revising the curriculum as needed. He also works to develop and manage the faculty. Kirk is a graduate of Myotherapy College of Utah and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 15 years and a massage instructor for 12 years. He is interested in the connectedness of all manual therapies, physical and subtle. He has a private practice he specializes in Adaptive Eclectic Massage. He loves movies, to exercise, visit the ocean and hike the mountains.
