I am a small practice, my massage style is focused, detailed and investigative. Neuromuscular therapy is a modality geared towards pain management and muscular maintenance. I offer advanced, problem solving massage therapy to treat and prevent the types of injuries that result from an imbalance within the body's muscles and soft tissues. Pain doesn't have to be a way of life!

I am here to offer pain relief to get you back to normal life, limit your doctor visits and medicine intake. Maya is the best. She's really helping me with my shoulder which has been really stiff after surgery and my neck which was stiff because of my shoulder.
Services
A type of massage therapy, deep tissue massage combines firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles).
By working deep in the muscles and joints, this treatment helps to warm and relax over-exerted bodies.
Whether the cause is physical activity or chronic stress, the firm techniques of deep tissue massage are used to melt away pain, stress, soreness and tension while improving posture, flexibility and fluid movement and the release of holding patterns.

The muscles of the head and carry quite the workload.
These muscles pull the skull and jaw toward the shoulders, spine, and shoulder blades (Scapula), and contract to adjust the posture of the head.
They're also responsible for the motor movements, giving the muscular system of the head and neck coordination to move in every direction.
Despite having some of greatest endurance of any of the muscles in the body, the head and neck are not immune to pain.

The shoulder is made up of a ball and socket with a great amount of mobility.
Unlike the hip and bone of the upper leg, your shoulder socket is too small to fully encapsulate the ball of the humerus (upper arm).
Instead, a combination of muscles and tendons, called the rotator cuff, cover the head of the upper arm bone, attach it to your shoulder blade, and keep your humerus centered in your shoulder socket.
The hip joint is one of the most important joints in the human body.
It allows us to walk, run, and jump.
It bears our upper body's weight when sitting, standing, and transferring weight while standing and walking and it can withstand the force of the strong muscles of the hip and leg, allowing movement andmaintaining posture.
The hip joint is strong and rigid, and at the same time also among the most flexible in our body.
The range of motion allowed in the hip joint is second only to that of the shoulder.
The feet are flexible structures of bones, joints, muscles, and soft tissues that let us stand upright and perform activities like walking, running and jumping.
Twenty-five percent of all the bones in your skeleton reside in your feet, and they work hard.
Muscles, tendons, and ligaments run along the surfaces of the feet, allowing the complex movements needed for motion and balance.
One mile of walking places over 60 tons of stress on each foot.
The average person walks approximately 1,000 miles per year.
