ReLAKES Professional Massage is the sister company of Revive Professional Massage out of Fargo ND. Our owner, Rachel Alderson, has been a part of the massage profession since 1998. She has owned a practice, taught and trained other massage professionals in both a post secondary education capacity as well as continuing education classes. Rachel opened Revive in 2010 and is proud of the out-of-the-box approach she has taken to helping other massage professionals achieve their goals of owning their own businesses.
As a proud Minnesotan and lover of lake life, Detroit Lakes was the right place to expand her dream of providing a secure and safe environment for Massage Therapists to use their skills to help our valued clients manage and eliminate their pain. This involves trigger point therapy, cross fiber friction, deep direct pressure and stretching.
One person's deep tissue is another person's light pressure, so please talk with your therapist beforehand.
Communication in regards to pressure is essential.
In case the pregnancy is considered low risk with no complications, pregnancy massage is safe once past the first trimester.
Otherwise, a doctor's note is required.
We provide pregnancy pillows and will do our best to make sure you are comfortable.
