Services
We are a state-licensed, home-based therapeutic massage practice serving Chadron and the surrounding communities since 1993.

We're happy to assist you with questions or make alternate recommendations!
Our many years of hands on experience has taught us that the whole body must be properly cared for in order to function correctly, as well as to prevent and fight disease.
Not sure whether to schedule a 15, 30, 60, or 90 minute service?
THE 15 MINUTE SESSION: As a general rule, express massage services (15 minutes) are good for those needing a fast energy boost (afternoon lull, morning fog, etc), or quick relief from building tension (eye strain, headache, jaw or neck tension, or aching calves).
To relieve tension that is already settled, we advise scheduling a 30, 60, or 90 minute service, depending upon the degree of tension or pain.
THE 30 MINUTE SESSION: A thirty minute massage session is usually adequate for partial body treatment (meaning upper body, or low back and legs, for example).
Massage therapy is an all encompassing name for a variety of modalities including Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Massage, Shiatsu, Hot Stone Massage, Watsu, Cranio-Sacral Massage, and others.
Massage therapists come from a variety of backgrounds and are trained in varying modalities.
We recommend that you talk to potential massage therapy providers before receiving treatment to ensure that they are properly trained and licensed and will be able to provide the treatment(s) you seek in a safe and effective manner.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you are a new customer please arrive 5 minutes early to complete our Client Intake and Health History form prior to your receiving treatment.
Please see our Policies page for more information.
What is a "Client Health History" or "Client Intake" form and why do I need to fill one out?
It is necessary that your massage therapist be aware of your current health status as some conditions are contraindicated for massage.
If you have ever visited The Great Escape, please take a moment to fill out our brief 5 question, no-stress survey.
Tell us what you appreciate most about our services, and the areas you feel need improvement.
We care very much about customer satisfaction and YOUR feedback is critical to helping us provide the best service possible.
We especially appreciate feedback on our massage services as related to pain relief and muscle tension.
Thank you!
