Finding Balance is a warm, welcoming space that offers both therapeutic and clinical styles of massage. Whether you want to address aches and pains, you're training for an athletic event, or you need to relax, you've come to the right place. Helpful with: stubborn aches and pains, limited range of motion, old injuries, TMJ/jaw issues, over doing it at the gym, positional strain patterns (stiff neck from sitting at a desk, wonky hip from carrying a child, etc.)

What to expect: (Pronounced myo-fash-ull) Myofascial release is a type of clinical massage that focuses on pain relief by more efficiently addressing the connective tissue. Slow and steady pressure is used along with sustained stretching to soften tight muscles and loosen adhesions. What to expect: MFR+ starts with 30-40 minutes of myofascial work focused on your specific trouble spots.

The remainder of the service is spent with more familiar Swedish or deep tissue massage. Helpful with: reduction in stress and anxiety, restoration of postural balance, reduction in swelling and pain, elevation of mood, and fostering deep breathing.

Amy is a state licensed, nationally certified massage therapist who graduated from the North Jersey Massage Training Center in 2008.
She spent a number of years working in high end day spas before deciding to focus on pain management.
She believes that by combining the comfort of a spa setting with clinical knowledge, she is able to provide a therapeutic experience like no other.
Each of her services starts with a consultation where open communication is established and you can discuss your current massage therapy goals.
