Hi, I'm Barry, owner and licensed massage therapist of Main Street Massage in Hudson, Ohio. Effective - there is a technique for just about every muscle in the body. We are aiming for at least an 80% improvement, and many times the pain is completely gone. You will be treated as a person, not an appointment. I will respect your feelings and want you to be completely comfortable during the session.

I get massages too so I want you to receive the outstanding benefits it offers. Massage is your time. We will talk first to discuss what needs special attention today. I'll ask how the pressure feels and the room temperature as we go, and adjust it as needed. I won't talk your ear off, so you can thoroughly relax, but feel free to ask any questions or talk about anything you wish.

I want to see you leaving with a smile. You will be doing business one-on-one with me, not a chain or a company with high employee turnover. Your sessions will produce better results and will be more effective the more we work together.
Services
This is not your typical massage.
It's more interactive than most standard massages, and you can experience longer lasting results.
I'll start with some Neural Reset Therapy techniques to quickly relieve pain and loosen your muscles back to normal.
It's fast, pain free to you, and is done fully clothed.
It's effective on pain from daily activities and even effective on long term pain.
Following that I will also do some regular massage for even more relaxation and stress relief.
Each massage is customized to your needs of the day, and we will spend the amount of time you want, with the pressure you want, on each area of need.
If you are facing the plaza, the Hudson Knoll buildings are not directly behind the plaza, but are to the right toward East Case Drive.
Milford Drive can be accessed from SR 303, Veterans Way, or East Case Drive.
Also from the plaza itself go past the bank to the right of Acme, turn right on Milford, and the Hudson Knoll will be on the right in under a minute.
My business is not on the sign by the road yet, but when you find the Hudson Knoll it's the right place.
Ready to make an appointment?
I sometimes have same day or short notice availability that is not shown in the online schedule, so give me a call for those.
Many people ask me how I got into massage.
Some want to know a little more about me as we work together.
I suspect that others are curious since I don't look like what they think a typical massage therapist looks like (I'm not a female or a big brawny guy named Sven or Otto).
I went to college and got a degree in Computer Science.
I worked as a programmer and analyst for a few years.
I worked on my skills and became pretty good.
I was missing something though.
One year during the company performance review I looked back on all my projects.
For pain relief I will be using techniques to reset muscles back to normal that are done fully clothed.
Soft, thinner clothing provides the best results.
Otherwise, wear whatever you want - it is entirely up to you what you want to wear.
You will be properly draped during the entire session.
For your massage to be the most effective, you need to be relaxed, not thinking about clothes.
It does not matter to me, and the fashion police are off duty, having received their massages already.
I will leave the room while you undress, relax onto the table, and cover yourself with a clean sheet.
Some people have wondered about getting a massage but are reluctant.
One stumbling block is that they don't want to take off their clothes.
There are several valid reasons for that hesitancy.
Before getting involved with massage I needed to do some research to understand the situation.
Massage is working on your muscles and other soft tissue.
It's easier to evaluate their condition and then work to make them better without anything between my hands and them.
Easier, but not essential.
If you do want to keep your clothes on, you can wear something that is comfortable that allows some movement.
