The human structural and energetic anatomy consists of three layers: deep, middle and superficial. Working at any layer can help all of them. Zero Balancing works at the deep layer of bone and ligament, letting old patterns be released from any layer. Holistic Massage works at the middle layer of muscle, fascia, nerve, and meridians to relieve pain and reduce stress.

Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) works the rich, superficial layer of lymphatic vessels that connect to the pervasive lymph system to reduce swelling and enhance your immune system. Your health, vitality, well-being, and even happiness, will be supported by my skills, attention, and compassion. Let's begin with pain relief or stress reduction, and then continue with regular maintenance to make better normal.

Don't wait to feel better.
Services
I am a certified practitioner of Zero Balancing and a Holistic Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist (Vodder Method).
Both methods employ gentle, precise touch in well designed protocols for the entire body to amplify your health.
My bodywork journey may have begun with dance classes as a teenager, or live drawing and sculpture classes in college, or bringing my taiji students into alignment with gravity with hands-on guidance.
It certainly started with my first Zero Balancing (ZB) class in 1995.
In 2004 I attended the Florida School of Massage, received my Florida massage license, and began my practice.
Zero Balancing (ZB) is excellent for changing new or old dysfunctional patterns.
It's a great way to let go of the residue of past experience that no longer serves you.
That's right, your body holds on to memories in the tissue, even ones your conscious memory has forgotten.
And bones are the deep storage.
Much as sound is recorded and stored, experiences (action, reaction, or emotion) are vibrations stored in the body in the form of tension.
Anyone's life holds more experience and incident than can be recalled or recounted.
Holistic Massage is a comprehensive approach to massage and the body attending to the structures of muscle, fascia, nerves, and the energetic meridians of Chinese medicine theory.
My work is gentle and thorough.
Based in Swedish Massage, it also incorporates aspects of neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, and meridian massage.
I use whatever I've learned or invented on the spot to deal with the situation at hand.
We might work on specific points of neuromuscular tensions, known as trigger points, that are the source of pain local or distant.
The gentle, rhythmic touch of Vodder-method Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) increases the movement of lymph through its entire system, speeding healing, reducing swelling with its related pain, and improving health.
MLD is a whole body approach to enhancing immune system function using a time-tested method.
Reduced swelling of the hand to none after surgery at the wrist to remove a small skin cancer.
No swelling or bruising after a bone graft of the maxilla (upper jaw) and tooth extraction.
The oral surgeon's comment immediately post-op, "You're not swelling yet."
Reduced rates are available with the commitment to sessions at regular intervals.
Appointments for the remainder of the calendar year will be made at the time of commitment to receive this favorable rate.
Your medical doctor may prescribe massage or other manual therapy, in which case you may be eligible to use your health insurance to cover part or all of the cost.
I am finding that the current deductibles are so high that few clients are actually able to use the insurance for payment.
My current policy is to provide you with a payment receipt and treatment notes that you may submit to your insurance provider.
