Chill Pet Massage
Chill Pet Massage is a certified, insured, mobile animal massage business. Bringing the benefits of massage to the cats and dogs of Novi, Michigan, and surrounding areas, all in the comfort of your own home. As a fellow pet parent, we want our pets to live their healthiest, happiest lives. We do whatever it takes to make sure they feel their best, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Massage works on all these levels, making a positive difference in every pet's life. Similar to human benefits, massage therapy has relaxing, healing, and therapeutic effects on your pets. Animal massage is a gentle way to soothe and calm your pet while alleviating muscle tension, stress, and pain. Whether you have a service animal, agility pet, retired athlete, family pet or old-timer, massage can help them feel their best, for as long as possible.

My goal is to work closely with your veterinarian, to develop tailored massage sessions to suit your pets' individualized, evolving needs.
Services
I graduated from Loyola University with a Masters in Social Work; however, what really moved my heart was the love I feel for animals.
With this in mind, I decided to change course in my career and pursue a profession that allowed me to channel this passion into helping animals live their best lives.
I founded Chill Pet Massage after graduating from the Northwest School of Small Animal Massage certification program in 2020.
To become certified, I completed courses in Animal Massage Techniques, Kinesiology, Anatomy and Physiology, Behavior and Handling, and Animal First Aid.
Routine massages are a small investment in your pets' healthy future.
Sessions last generally from 30 to 60-minute long.
The massage techniques and duration of each session will be customized to suit your pet's therapeutic needs.
Many variables will be taken into consideration, the size of the dog, breed, age, physical limitations, and any other behavioral and health issues.
Please note, during any session, your pet determines how much time and when the therapist is allowed to touch them.
This session is about getting to know each other.
I received my training and certificate from the Northwest School of Small Animal Massage, in the state of Washington.
My plan is to further my education with advanced level massage courses, particularly rehabilitation and performance massage, and supplement with complementary modalities beneficial to your pet: acupressure, therapeutic laser, hydrotherapy, reiki, aromatics, manual ligament therapy, and issues specific to geriatric pets.
Staying abreast of the newest, latest animal healthcare techniques is extremely important to me, as I grow in my relationship with you and your pet.
Massage provides a safe, natural, non-invasive method of maintaining your pet's optimal health and quality of life.
Regular massage sessions can reduce the frequency of veterinary visits, the need for medication, or more invasive, painful and expensive treatments.
Massage therapy combined with regular vet visits can be an important part of the overall healthcare plan for your pet.
It is best to schedule a massage at a time when your pet is most relaxed.
Make sure your dog has had sufficient water for the day, has gone on a short walk with a potty break, and it has been at least two hours since their last meal.
The massage should be in a quiet comfortable space, free of other pets, noises, aromas, and other distractions.
Unlike humans, pets don't always calmly lay in one spot while you massage them.
This means adapting to what your pet will allow you to do while building trust, which eventually lets you perform deeper work, for longer periods of time.
