At Bancroft you will receive training in a broad range of modalities, with sound theoretical background, and strong practical application, all designed to give you greater flexibility and marketability in your profession. The Bancroft School of Massage Therapy offers its Massage Therapy Program up to six times during the academic year. Full-time and part-time schedules are available with course lengths ranging from nine to 17 months.

This is a supervised setting where students are getting 'real world' experience working with the general public. Bancroft offers a wide variety of Continuing Education classes and is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork as a continuing education provider.

Thank you for your interest in the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, Inc. Different cultures have valued the aid of massage for thousands of years, but it was not until the early 1800's that the system known as Swedish Massage was developed.
Since that time, Swedish Massage has become one of the most widely accepted forms of massage in the world today.
At Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, we take great pride in being one of the oldest and most active schools in the training of professional massage practitioners.
Bancroft School of Massage Therapy's diploma program meets the licensing requirements of most state, city, and town laws presently enacted, exceeds the educational requirements for the Massage & Bodywork License examination (MBLEx).
The objective of the program is to prepare men and women for rewarding careers as professional massage therapists.
The Bancroft School of Massage Therapy offers the Massage Therapy Program up to six times during the academic year.
The program is approved by the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education for the training of veterans.
Applications will be processed in order received, and openings in the program will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis for all qualified candidates.
All information submitted for purposes of applying to the Massage Therapy Program is confidential.
It will be used by BSMT for the purposes of selecting a class for the program and informing the applicant of future programs offered by BSMT.

Bancroft School of Massage Therapy is seeking students who genuinely recognize massage as a healing art, who enjoy caring for people and who demonstrate a responsible and professional attitude toward their work.
High school transcript not required if you submit transcripts of graduation from a 2 or 4 year college.
Interview: A personal interview with one of the Directors to discuss the program in depth and to tour the facility.
The interview is scheduled once the Admissions Office has received and reviewed the application.
The US Dept of Education is the lender and pays on the loan while you are in school at least half time and during grace and deferment periods.
Must demonstrate financial need.
