Recharge Therapeutic Massage seeks to recharge your body and mind through high-quality and efficient massage. Wouldn't it be nice if you could recharge your body and mind like you charge your cell phone or laptop? At Recharge Therapeutic Massage you can! Whether you want a massage that is relaxing and meditative or detailed and restorative or a mix of both, you can expect to be recharged and ready to take on life's demands!.

No! A lot of people get ashiatsu as a relaxing treatment. So you can get into your zen, meditative state faster with ashiatsu than a traditional hand massage. It totally depends on your activity and pain levels. I recommend receiving at least one massage every month to maintain optimal body/mind wellbeing. But if you are experiencing chronic pain, coming more often to get it under control is recommended.
Services
Hi! I'm Nate Gardner, licensed massage therapist since 2013, and owner of Recharge Therapeutic Massage.
I am passionate about helping people who have highly demanding careers.
I work with entrepreneurs, investors, managers, CEOs, stay at home parents (yes your job is just as demanding if not more than any of the others!) and many more who need efficient and effective self-care.
As an entrepreneur myself, I always have my eyes and ears open for ways of being more efficient with my time.
Efficiency in self-care is essential because the majority of us have difficulty carving out time for it.
During a traditional massage, the therapist massages the skeletal muscular system of the body using hands, fingers, elbows, and forearms.
The purpose of traditional massage is generally for the treatment of stress and/or pain.
During an ashiatsu massage, the therapist stands on the massage table and holds onto bars secured from the ceiling for balance.
Using his or her feet, the therapist gives the therapeutic massage to the client.
This type of massage takes advantage of gravity to help deliver pressure according to the client's preferences.
Ashiatsu massage, also known as Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy (AOBT) or "barefoot massage", is a massage modality where the therapist uses his or her bare feet to give the massage.
The word "ashiatsu" comes from the Japanese language and means "foot pressure".
When you receive an Ashiatsu massage the pressure is more broad, padded, and comfortable.
Not only can the therapist give more pressure standing on the massage table but your body can more easily accept the pressure.
This means you can expect the pressure you need without the sharp pain that can come from a regular deep-tissue massage.
