Services
Hello, I'm Patti Priestley, Nationally Certified and Licensed Massage Therapist (SC Lic #6542) and owner of Beneficial Massage and Bodywork LLC.
I've provided hundreds of massages for my clients over the years.
Many of them see me on a regular basis: once a week, bi-monthly and monthly.
Some just come on an as-needed basis.
I appreciate and respect each and every one as a treasured gift.
My gift as a massage therapist to each of my clients is giving them excellent customer service, individual attention, confidentiality and a safe and relaxing atmosphere to regroup, heal and relax.
Beneficial Massage and Bodywork is dedicated in providing our customers with the highest level of service.
We are dedicated in relieving the stress and pain which tend to increase day to day.
We offer several types of massage services to address your stress, pain, and health.
We pride ourselves in being able to offer the absolute highest level of Massage Therapy anywhere in the Simpsonville / Mauldin area.
We focus on exactly what your needs are.
Whether or not you've had a massage before, we encourage you to experience a Beneficial Massage and feel why we are one of the best in the area.
Firm pressure is applied to the client's muscles to stimulate the deeper layers of muscle tissue.
The therapist may use hands, fingertips, knuckles, elbows and even forearms to release tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas (adhesions) focusing on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue.
The pressure will be more intense but never exceeding the client's pain tolerance.
Deep tissue massage is performed slowly to address connective tissue and the deep layers of muscle.
Hot Stone Massage is a variation on classic massage therapy.
Heated smooth, flat basalt stones are placed on key points on the body.
The therapist can also use them in the palm of her hand to deliver a truly soothing and relaxing massage.
You'll achieve incredible relaxation through this massage therapy treatment.
Words really cannot explain the amazing soothing effect that Hot Stone Massage provides.
You're body will feel immense relaxation and relief as your massage therapist incorporates hot stones into your massage.
Swedish Massage is the most popular and classic form of the soft tissue techniques.
A very effective method of relieving muscle tension, our Swedish Massage will leave you feeling relaxed and energized.
Effleurage is a French word meaning to glide, stroke or touch.
This is good for conforming to the contour of small areas, such as the neck or the forearm.
When applied as a long stroke, it tends to cover the entire limb in a movement toward the heart.
The pressure typically begins with a light but firm stroke to apply oil with pressure increasing with each pass along the limb, back or chest.
