Upon graduation from Twin Lakes College of the Healing Arts, I began my private massage practice in 2003. Over the years, I have learned much about bodywork from assisting two local chiropractors with their patients as well as my own clients. I offer safe holistic Oncology Massage Therapy. I have over 1500 hours of training including Oncology/Hospital Massage and I am still continuing to add new classes!

I am a Reiki Master; energy work is both subtle and profound. I enjoy teaching private workshops in Reiki, Huna, self-care and personal enrichment. I am blessed to be working in a field that I love. Certified Oncology Massage is gentle, safe, therapeutic touch for those who are in current treatment for cancer or a cancer survivor. This work is very dear to my heart- I have close family members and friends who have battled various cancers; I am honored to be able to provide massage to those in need.

It is important to understand contraindications for massage modalities as well as client health factors such as low blood counts or DVT.

Acupressure: uses the pressure of the fingers and hands and is utilized effectively for tension related elements.
Acupressure is a form of touch therapy that utilizes the principles of Chinese medicine.
In acupressure, the same points on the body are used as in acupuncture, but are stimulated with finger pressure instead of with the insertion of needles.
Acupressure is used to relieve a variety of symptoms and pain.
Acupressure massage performed by a therapist can be very effective both as prevention and as a treatment for many health conditions, including headaches, general aches and pains, colds and flu, arthritis, allergies, asthma, nervous tension, menstrual cramps, sinus problems, sprains, tennis elbow, and toothaches, among others.

Oncology Massage not only eases tight fascia and muscle tissue, but many studies have shown that it helps improve quality of life by reducing stress by allowing total relaxation which introduces changes in the brain wave patterns (alpha & theta states).
Our body is our unconscious mind/subconscious mind or our inner knowing.
Many of our beliefs formed while we were quite young- and they may be limiting us from our full potential of our knowledge and learning experiences that we have had in the following years.
Hypnotherapy is very relaxing and soothing and allows us to replace our limiting beliefs with healthy, positive changes gathered from our own inner wisdom.
Client Centered Hypnotherapy allows you to access your own subconscious mind and re-align with consciousness and the body.
Aromatherapy is an art and science that is based on organic chemistry and yet delights the nose with a fragrant bouquet.
Plants generate and secrete essential oils that protects it from bacteria, virus and fungal pathogens and by mass spectrograph analysis, humans are able to benefit because we are susceptible to many of the same pathogens.
Each plant has its own unique chemical make -up; for example, eo (essential oil) of rose has over 400 constituents; it is a wonderful eo for aging skin and has anti-inflammatory properties.
HeartMath is a wonderful self-care tool that helps people build and sustain resilience.
HeartMath believes that every heart holds wisdom and intelligence that can help guide each of us through adversities.
By accessing our heart's intelligence, creative ways can be found to bring balance and rhythm to these challenges.
As a HeartMath Coach, I will help you learn several in-the-moment techniques that will assist you in maintaining your composure and balances you face day to day challenges in both your personal and professional life.
